If I could rate this higher I would. This album shows off Kendrick's ability to mix good beats, unmatched lyricism and deep emotions into every single one of his songs. From the fun and energetic Alright to the dark and cynical U. This Album never fails to surprise you. My personal top three are 1. Mortal Man, I love how Kendrick was able to create a death with Tupac posthumously that is both realistic and extremely meaningful 2. How much a dollar cost, This song shows Kendrick's storytelling ability by painting a story of Kendrick meeting a homeless man who begs for Kendrick's generosity 3. U This song is a deep contrast to the single I put out in 2014.Instead of rapping about self worth and the value of life. Kendrick unloads all of his demons onto himself in a drunken rage.

Most rap is just complete controversial nonsence. Not this. This is g-funk. People call it jazz but thats wrong its g-funk. This is more reminiscent of the cronic by dr dre than it is good kid maad city. I have never been a fan of kendrick. I only listened to this because a friend said that this was an amazing album. Im glad i gave it a listen, i just hope he releases more albums like this

Every time I start my songs, they end up skipping at the exact same time at the beginning of the song. So bad
